You can freely make customizations by splitting a large file by preset split mode, customizing the output file size, extracting the video segment you like, and adjusting other advanced parameters according to your own need.

Xilisoft FLV to WMV Converter is a video converter for Windows. It allows you to convert FLV videos to Windows Media Video (WMV) files. There are many reasons why you would want to do that. In my case, I would convert FLV files to WMV to play them on a mobile video playback device or the Xbox 360.
Just like every other Xilisoft converter, this one has an excellent graphical user interface. It has everything that you would need for conversions of this type. For example, there is a video player at the bottom of the screen that allows you to preview your videos, but not the actual conversion process. The video player can sometimes become unresponsive or fail to play audio or video, but the converted file will work well. At the bottom of the screen you have the only available conversion profile. It is selected by default. At the right part of the screen are the basic profile settings. You can access the advanced settings by clicking on the small triangle next to the basic settings. There are quite a lot of options to play with there.
In my testing, I was able to convert an FLV video that I had downloaded from YouTube into a WMV file with no problems whatsoever. The file played great on VLC and Windows Media Player. |
